Cost 2 Cost Footwear LLP began its journey under the leadership of Mr.Virumal Chandnani over 40 years ago, with the ideology of making quality footwear available at affordable prices for all budgets. From a modest start in 1980 as ‘Heera Footwear’, the company evolved to Cost2Cost in 1999 as a sole proprietorship brand. The company was incorporated as Cost 2 Cost Footwear LLP in September 2017.

What began as a modest product portfolio out of a single footprint store, has today made a mark in the footwear industry with outlets at nine locations in the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Cost 2 Cost Footwear is a name to reckon with as one of the oldest leading economy footwear retail chains.

Cost 2 Cost Footwear is a name synonymous with quality, affordability and trust. Over the years the company has built the business with many popular partner brands as a part of the product portfolio, providing offers even on a premium range of footwear. The company is also heralded as the pioneer for the school footwear and industrial safety footwear in Hyderabad and Secunderabad.

LATE SHRI. VIRUMAL CHANDNANI, Founder

Shri Virumal Chandnani, the Patriarch and founder of the group, was born in an affluent family in 1934 in Sindh, Pakistan. At the age of 13, he migrated to Ajmer, India and faced the hardships of a refugee. He later moved to Hyderabad in 1968 and began a modest life of working in Dry cleaning stores and later started a store of his own. In 1980, he started the Group's first footwear store, "Heera Footwear" with mere 6 employees. With his able vision, the company has grown multifold to nine stores and now employs more than 200 workforce.

He was a visionary who always believed that "Customer Satisfaction" "Quality" and "Affordability" are the Ethos of any business which has been instilled in all working for the group. He was a firm believer of the concept of inclusive growth and worked tirelessly in contributing to the society in any manner. He was known to empower his workforce by offering opportunities to many of the employees who over a period of time started their own entrepreneurial ventures and work along with the group.

RAMESH CHANDNANI, Partner

Ramesh, a management graduate, has over 40 years of experience in retail business. Post his education, Ramesh started the business of manufacturing and production of cassettes and CDs and ran the business for about a decade. However, with the growing demand and the expansion in the Group’s footwear business, Ramesh sold off the company and joined the Footwear business. His addition to the footwear business further strengthened the team, which propelled the business to new heights.

Ramesh, with his diversified retail experience, holds good business ingenuity and people management skills. He is responsible for the Group’s store management and seamless operations. Under his guidance and leadership, the group has opened nine stores within a short period of time.

NARENDER CHANDNANI, Partner

Narender, an entrepreneur with over more than 30 years of experience in footwear retail business. He was involved in the business along with his father since he was a teenager and has carried out his father's legacy of providing affordable and quality footwear.

He provides value creation in the company with his extensive experience and keeping abreast with the latest footwear trends which is reflected in the varied footwear portfolio of the company. He spearheads the company's strategy formulation and implementation. The company under his able direction, has grown from a single operated store to being one of the leading footwear retail chains in the city.

Narender is a law graduate from Osmania university, Hyderabad and is also involved in various community development programs within the city.
